Director, Dennis Williams Dennis Williams joined UAW Local 806, which represented UAW members at Case Corporation in 1977 and chaired the bargaining committee. He was appointed an International Representative in 1988 and assigned to Organizing. Williams played a key role in organizing Mitsubishi Local 2488, MBL USA Local 2323, and East Moline Metal Products, Local 1948.
From 1992 to 1995, Williams serviced IPS, TOP and other national agreements. He served as Assistant Director of Region 4 from 1995 until his election as Director. Williams was elected Director of UAW Region 4 at a special convention in 2001. He was re-elected in June, 2002 and again in June, 2006 at the union's Constitutional Convention in Las Vegas.
Williams is currently a member of UAW Local 807 in Burlington, Iowa.
Prior to joining the UAW, Williams served four years in the U.S. Marines.

Assistant Director, Ron McInroyRon McInroy joined the UAW in 1979 when he was hired at the John Deere Company in Waterloo, IA - Local 838. Ron was a Tool-Grinder by trade and held several different elected positions and worked on various committees while serving the local. He was elected to Steward in 1981, where he remained until 1993 when he was elected Committeeman and served as a Committeeman plus served on the Consumer Affairs Committee, Recreation Committee, Skilled Trades Committee at Local 838. Ron served and was elected to the John Deere Sub-Council as Chairman in 2000, was a member of the Bargaining Committee for the UAW-Deere negotiations in 2003. In 2005, he went on Temporary Organizing and on April 10, 2005 was appointed to Servicing Representative in Iowa by Director Dennis Williams. His Iowa assignment included his home Local 838 along with Locals 242, 450, 616, 997, 1024, and one unit out of Local 893. On November 30, 2008, Ron McInroy was appointed to the position of Assistant Director at Region 4.
